The Calgary Vipers committed four errors and lost 4-2 to the St. George RoadRunners at Bruce Hurst Field in St. George, Utah. The errors led to two unearned runs while at the plate the Vipers hit into three double-plays right after leadoff singles and also left the bases loaded in the fifth inning. Calgary did outhit St. George 12-7 but left 11 runners on base including six in scoring position. With the loss the Snakes have dropped three straight games for the first time this year and with a pending win are now tied with the Edmonton Capitals for first place in the Golden Baseball League’s North Division.
 
David Seccombe (4-1) pitched his team to victory going six innings and not giving up an earned run while walking only one. Bartolome Fortunato (9) picked up his third save in as many nights with a two-strikeout ninth inning. Joe Sergent (3-3) battled and took the loss going five innings and giving up two earned runs while striking out a season high nine. Dallas Mahan was great for the second straight night out of the bullpen for Calgary throwing two innings without giving up a hit, run, or walk while Jon Huizinga pitched a scoreless ninth frame for the Snakes.
